How does SANMAC ® 2205 compare with SAF 2205 ™ ?

SANMAC ® 2205 is a variant of SAF 2205 but with much improved machinability and this offers productivity cost advantages for manufacturers. SANMAC ® 2205 also conforms to the Standards UNS S31803; S32205 and EN 1.4462 and its improved machinability is achieved without compromising properties such as corrosion resistance and mechanical properties.

SANMAC ® 2205 is the grade of bar that is stocked in the range 20 to 350mm dia (subject to availability)
